"Some of the friendliest and most helpful hotel staff I have experienced. Paula greeted me at my late arrival and made sure I had everything I needed both at check in and throughout my stay, including some great excursions. The ever present bar and restaurant crew Elias and Harim were always there with recommendations and friendly conversation. Be it I had to leave early for a tour or needed advice on bars to visit while in town. Rangel, Kevin, Maria and Helen were busy keeping the room clean and the property well kept. If you visit be sure to go see the turtles in the wishing well and tell them hi. "

"Jaguar Creek was a beautiful property and a wonderful place to stay on our vacation! It was centrally located, so the drive to see other places around the country was reasonable. The inland blue hole cenote and cave system was within a mile, and tours could be easily scheduled. We had a lovely cabin that was intentionally cleaned and decorated with flower petals in the bathroom and on the queen bed with towel swans to welcome us. The staff was friendly and welcoming too! They gave us a tour around the property after our check in so we were comfortable and confident navigating our way around. The walkways were surrounded by beautiful plants, flowers and trees which maintained the feeling of walking through the rain forest, and there were a couple of outdoor fireplaces to enjoy the evenings after dinner. The restaurant staff were very attentive and professional and the food was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed each meal that was prepared and served to us. The food at the restaurant was the best we had on our holiday. The staff were also accommodating if you needed anything prepared differently. The river tubing was fun and refreshing. The water was clear and you can see fish swimming beneath you as you float along. A great way to cool off on those hot days! The deck overlooked the river and had loungers for relaxing after tubing. There were a lot of different kinds of birds and we could occasionally hear the howler monkeys! We definitely recommend staying here."

"Our "cabin" was beautiful! It was a large room with a sitting area and very comfortable bed! The howler monkeys usually sounded a couple times a day. Lovely location on the river and the pools were very refreshing. Carmen was a great host and very attentive. Definitely recommend!"

"The property was so beautiful with its pool and waterfall and jungle grounds which were immaculate. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The food was spectacular. We only got to spend one night but wish it could have been at least four. This is the best hotel to stay in all of Northern Belize! Highly recommend!"

"The cabana was clean, tidy and comfortable. We especially liked the grass roof and screen porch with hammock - and tropical birds in the trees next to our place. Incredible view of San Ignacio below!!! Employees at the service desk were friendly and helpful. The restaurant and bar had good food and drinks - wait staff very friendly and courteous! Overall, an excellent stay while visiting Tikal National Park in Guatemala!"

Their warmth made my stay unforgettable. About Hopkins Village: This isn’t just a place to visit; it’s a place to experience. Everyone smiles at you, everyone is kind—just make sure you’re kind back. It’s a humble beachside village full of love, culture, and flavor, and that’s what makes it special. A Few Things to Know: 🔹 No full-length mirror in my room—something to keep in mind if that matters to you. 🔹 The restaurant closes about an hour after check-in (around 4:30 PM), so if you’re arriving late, grab some food beforehand or wait until dinner at 6. Other than that, this stay was exactly what I needed. If you’re looking for a resort where you’re treated like family, where the people truly care, and where you can reconnect with yourself in a beautiful, peaceful setting, this is the place. I'd return in a beat."
