"This was one of the most unique experiences of my life! We came to celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday! The property is incredible! You are in the thickest jungle- with a creek running through the property to cool off in. The rooms have only screens- no windows. So you hear every jungle sound at night, including the howler monkeys! The staff was beyond hospitable and kind. They remembered our names and were very accommodating to our needs. They serve you breakfast and dinner with a set menu, and were even able to take my gluten allergy it to consideration. They offered transportation from the airport, for a fee, that helped ease our concerns on getting all the way there safely. We would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for adventure and something out of the ordinary! 10 out of 10 stars!! "

"We really enjoyed our Caves Branch stay. The staff were all exceptional and the ease of the meals (family style buffet) and tours made decision making really easy. Thanks to Arnold and Kenry for our river cave tubing tour. We learned a lot about Mayan history and Arnold was extremely patient with our slow moving family. Kenry helped my son jump into the river at the end of the tour. Cali at the bar was lovely as well, and the restaurant staff all referred to my daughter by name. I do think the friendliness and warmth of the staff sets this resort apart. My son loved the mini baguettes! Lastly, jungle critters are part of the experience and i appreciated the staff politely escorting them out of our cabana without mocking us. "

"Mystic River is truly a gem. They treat each guest as family, and because of the small size, you can really get to know the staff. The guides for the excursions were fabulous - knowledgeable, safe, and friendly. The only thing to be aware of is the lack of A/C in the cabanas. Even with fans, it can be quite hot at night. But, we found it entirely worth it! It was a wonderful jungle adventure that my kids will remember forever."

"Fantastic place to stay! Jungle setting was beautiful with lots of wildlife. Floating the Macal River was fun for kids (and adults). The food was fresh, perfectly prepared, and always with a local touch. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Lots of activities available and sites to see nearby. We enjoyed our stay at Sweet Songs more than the beach near Placencia. "

"You could spend your entire time here. But they arranged a tour for me to ATM caves, as well as transport to and from the airport and ferry."

"We stayed as a family of 4, and would stay again. Property was quiet and clean. Staff was amazing. Parking was easy. Highly recommend you rent a car. This resort is not terribly close to shops/restaurants in town. "

"This property is actually part of Jaguar Reef (a total of 3 resorts) with 2 pools, multiple bars, food options and the amazing dock bar. We had such a fantastic time here. It was relaxing, but also there are plenty of activity options to book if you want to fill your day. Our room was top notch and felt luxurious. We can't say enough nice things about the staff. They took great care of us, learned out names, and made us feel at home. The staff and the people of Belize in general, are such beautiful, kind, human beings. We are already talking about going back!"

"Dream Valley was beautiful. Stayed in a King room on the river and watched the parrots in the morning and listened to the howler monkeys. We would take a dip in the pool after a full day of activities. Anderson was awesome:). The only thing they could not accommodate us with was a massage. I guess you need to book way in advance. But not a deal breaker. We would definitely go back."
