"This was my favorite place we stayed while in Costa Rica. Quaint cottage on beautiful grounds. Very quiet and peaceful, woke up to bird call. A short hiking trail on the premises. $10 to buy breakfast which we did not pay for but there was a nice breakfast area so I’m sure it would have been nice. There was a small coffee maker and fridge in the room so we made our own coffee and enjoyed it sitting outside on the porch. Highly recommend!"

"PROS: - Very cool room, jacuzzi and shower definitely the highlights. - Surprisingly walkable to all restaurants/main road. - Very easy check in/out (key in lockbox outside bungalow). - Easy to text with staff with needs. - Kitchenette really came in handy! Was all prepped with dish soap/sponge, paper towels, pots/pans, cutlery, plates/bowls, etc. CONS: - I let the staff member know that our bathroom sink wasn't draining properly (over text). "Lovely place in the forest with amazing views! Toucans were plentiful. We enjoyed the sunsets here. The accommodation is spacious and has everything we could need. There was a beautiful fresh spread of breakfast food waiting for us as well. "

"I was only here one night, in a private room. It was about as basic as it gets. The bed was okay but I could feel the individual springs. The included breakfast was alright but nothing spectacular. The staff were all very polite and professional, but the property itself was very much the stereotypical hostel, passable but not memorable."

"This was a good place to stay for a few nights in Monteverde. It was easily walkable to restaurants/shops, we found the staff very helpful and the included breakfast was simple but good! We slept really well here. We did notice a bit of a smell from the bathroom drains sometimes, but we just kept the bathroom door shut and it was fine! Overall a great place to stay in Monteverde on a bit of a budget!! "

"Warm welcome by the owners Lelo, Juana, Beatriz and Natalia who were very nice, kind, helpful and professional. Our cabin was clean, lovely, spacious with a balcony overlooking the mountains. The lush gardens were fantastic. They offer laundry service at $5/kg, assigned free parking, pool with mineral spring water, strong WiFi, delicious breakfast from 7-9am and dinner at 6pm. The dirt road from the highway to the lodge was rather lengthy. Great job and thanks. Highly recommended!"
