"If you are looking for an easy access to the mountains at a good price it is the place to go. The room was very clean and the mattress very comfortable. We had a room w/out bathrooms so we used the common bathroom and it was very clean and organized, they provided you with towels, shampoo, conditioners and soap like any hotel bathroom would. They also have a laundry room where soap and dry sheets are available to be used for free. The only down size for me was the internet in my room was on and...

"We had a nice stay. A property prepared for days of skiing. The breakfast was good. The onsen warming. The views magnificent. We were snowed in one day and were only able to find food at a convenience store. The drives around the lake and mountains are beautiful. The highway has an exit nearby but there is plenty of other access. Probably great for summer too!"

"The staff is welcoming and kind, this is a family run business for 6 generations! The half board breakfast and dinner are exceptional, kaiseki style and every dish is presented beautifully. The location is right on the ometesando, lots of foot traffic but quiet. Futons are comfortable. We loved our stay and want to go back!"

Goryu was an excellent slop to start on with Hakubah 47 connection via gondola was so worth while. Good drying room for gear was great to dry gear over night. "Wow, what an absolute gem of a lodge to stay at. Super cool setting nestled in the forest just under Iwatake skifield. Genuine original Japanese ski lodge for a neat authentic experience. "
