"Un lieu splendide pour rencontrer d’autres voyageurs et se reposer. Ce qui rend ce lieu encore plus mémorable est Papa & Mama qui sont toujours là pour vous avec beaucoup d’attention. "Very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is some sweet bread. They set out options for pillows from you to choose from. It's a healthy walking distance from Kyoto station with light luggage and the the Nishiki Market area but far enough that it's quiet. Front desk staff was nice. The kitchen and common area downstairs are clean and fine. There is one washer and one dryer and a clothesline on the roof. It seems like the management is still learning the ropes with this place so I want to...

"The owner was so sweet and polite, took the time to explain the area and the busses/subways and how to get to all the popular areas! Bonus was the guard cat who always greeted me when I got back later in the evening 😁"

"The place was very cute and clean. They provided free water, juice and alcohol along with some snacks. This place is setup like a dorm where there is a bathroom to share and a couple showers. The only complaint the group and I had was that there is no air conditioning in the bathrooms so it is very hot. Overall the place was very good for groups of friends."

"Located in alley to the right of the pharmacy. Myself and several guests had trouble locating it. No staff on site when I arrived, wasn’t really an issue though as they left clear instructions. No issues, this place is great. Clean, quiet, everything appeared to be in good shape as far as fixtures etc, good location, etc. I would stay here again. "

"I’ve stayed in hostels in the UK and Ireland and this is different in enough ways to make it interesting and very clean. Each guest is assigned a bunk, which is actually pretty much a box that you sleep in. However, it is big enough to be really comfortable and easy to get in and out.
