"The location of this hotel is perfect, close to nightlife and restaurants, as well as shopping and markets. You can get anywhere in Kyoto with public busses that stop very close to the hotel. We really enjoyed the spacious, modern rooms and the extensive breakfast buffet. While the Cross Hotel Kyoto is rated 3 stars, it beats many 4+ star hotels we stayed in during our Japan trip."

"This was a wonderful hotel in a convenient area of Kyoto, right by a subway station and nice restaurants. The room was very nice with comfortable beds and a nicely designed bathroom. We had a bed with 3 rooms which was great for our group. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. If I get to return to Kyoto, I would definitely stay here again! "

"As it was my first experience with an Onyado, I did not know quite what to expect. The staff was very helpful in explaining and answering any questions that I had. My only disappointment was that it was very difficult to obtain bandages to cover my tattoo. Luckily I had brought some bandages and was still able to utilize the mineral pools. For all I would highly recommend this in. Very clean, delicious food and beautiful setting. Thank you."
