Didn't try the in house restaurant, but the dessert/parfait operation they run at nice had some really delicious desserts and drinks. My only complaint is the hostel's towels are very thin and you're only allowed one for the stay. The owner of the business personally took the time and effort to make our stay as enjoyable and accommodating. "It felt like a home away from home. Located in a charming small town area minutes from bustling Ikebukuro by train, you can get a glimpse of daily life in residential Tokyo. By the time I landed I had my booking confirmation, as well as a personal email from Tokyo Hostel Fuji to welcome me prior to my stay with the code for the door in case I was late. Check in was smooth, the hostel is right next to the subway and very close to the Shinjuku district. It is a bit far from both airports, but I was looking for the 24h districts so it was perfect for me. "
