"Very helpful and friendly staff. The outside seating areas smelled of cigarettes and the room smelled of dryer sheets or something. They had a very nice laundry machine and commercial dryer, but it was outside and didn't have a combination lock. A little bit of a walk to the train station but not bad and lots happening in terms of interesting shops along the walk. Lots of nice restaurants and shops near the place too. It was listed as a room for two, with two beds but it looked like there...

"Small and tight but clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and train station. Be aware that it is literally next to the train tracks so you will hear the trains pass by"

"Warm, cozy, welcoming room in a traditional Japanese house. We appreciated Katsutaro san’s hospitality. Coin washer and dryer onsite. Walking distance to Yanaka Ginza shopping street and Nippori or Ueno station. Recommend."

"Great apartment with separate bedroom and much bigger than usual Japanese hotels. Beds comfortable, clean bed linen and towels, lots of hot water and pristine bathroom. Minimal kitchen facilities but good for breakfasts and those wanting to eat out. Landlord accessible and a great communicator. Exceptional value for money. "
