"Hotel was conveniently located across from the Del Monte Shopping Center. Road access was very good. Breakfast was self-serve, but adequate. Area nearby has plenty of restaurants and is close to downtown Monterey. Staff was friendly and helpful "

"Beautiful property with excellent, attentive, professional staff. Great ammenities: champagne brunch (delicious), afternoon wine/sangria, evening fresh baked cookies plus free car service to/from Carmel downtown in the evening."

"The property is quite dated but clean and in a good location close to the marina and lots of good restaurants. Their breakfast buffet was very good and parking is right next-door. Rooms are good size and had a nice fireplace but or dated. They can use some updating and remodeling. The gardens outside the rooms were kept up and very nice. "

"for this type of property (an inn) it's quite nice. the rooms were clean and functional. the parking lot was a bit tight but it worked out. overall, a good place to put your head down for the night. there's a shopping mall with plenty of food options at walking distance."

"My water for the shower was not as hot as I would have liked it. But I didn't call the desk to fix the problem, so it wasn't that bad. Staff was amazing from every aspect of our stay. "
