"Actually a boat in the river, which I was not completely aware of and the thing actually rocks when other boats pass. So, in case you are sentitive to this, make sure you know what you book. Furthermore, this hotel/boat is well located between the metro Austerlitz and the Gare de Lyon, so very well connected to explore Paris and it's a lit of fun to be on a yacht instead of another boring hotel building. "Great breakfast!! (No decaffeinated tea or coffee at breakfast but some did appear in my room when I subsequently asked.) Clean, modern and comfortable room, good service. The only issue was the room could have been more sound proofed from outside noise. Having said that, its not a noisy street or area. Its close to the metro and has good bus routes nearby. Its not a touristy area so not so many restaurants but you won’t starve, a taxi is never far away."

However, this may not be the most convenient option for families traveling with young children, as the nearest metro station is at least a 15-minute walk. Additionally, the hotel doesn’t seem to have been designed with a kid-friendly approach in mind. For instance, we experienced a minor incident at the restaurant where other guests expressed concerns about our child’s behavior around art. "
