"The property was close to two subway stations and in a quiet part of the city. Staff was friendly and spoke English. You do have to keep the room key with the front desk whike you're away which I thought was a little odd, but I didn’t have any hiccups because of it. "

So I had to carry my passport with me the whole time I was there. The second to last day I use up the last the toilet paper, it was not replaced. So I use Kleenex the last day."

"Place d'Italie isn't the most interesting area in Paris, but it's well placed for transport links. It's also near the Bercy village, Too hotel and Bibliotec. The hotel itself was very clean and had reasonable facilities - kettle and tea. The staff was happy to give me fresh milk and very helpful with booking restaurants, giving directions and generally very friendly. Unusual for Paris! :) "
