Alpine Lodge

3.0 star property
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (38)
"Not a lodge/hotel but a 2 room apartment. 3rd floor walk up using narrow stairs; no elevator. Great location. Small but adequate balcony overlooking main street of Zermatt. Noisy bedroom until 10:00 PM. With occasional noisy groups passing below until 2:00. Internet connection terrible, very intermittent. Living room tiny. Extra charge for cleaning. Would not recommend "

Hotel Helvetia

2.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (682)
"The Hotel Helvetia was perfect for my short stay in Zermatt. I had read many of the previous reviews so I was prepared. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the train station, there is no elevator and my room was quite small but had a balcony overlooking the street filled with people. The hotel is surrounded by shops and restaurants. This hotel was quite reasonably priced and in a great location."

"We had the most wonderful experience staying at this charming hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The owner go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels at home, and it truly shows in every detail. The room Junior suite was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated, offering both comfort and a touch of local charm. The breakfast was a highlight—fresh, delicious. The location was also perfect, close to local attractions yet...
