"Kathy and I cannot say enough. Not only a beautiful location in the hills above Cloverdale but the cottage was just gorgeous! the hosts thought out EVERYTHING. Everything you would have at YOUR house but MORE! Band-Aids, Q-tips, ALL bathroom necessities. "We planned to stay 10 days, there wasn’t a table to sit at or chairs if you wanted to eat meals. We appreciate some kind of household instruction for watching t.v., using the air conditioning unit or operating the locks when exiting. This would be a good place to stay if you didn’t plan on any time in the unit. Also a good wind came up and the shredded patio umbrella collapsed. We left early."

"When you combine a truly lovely property with exceptionally responsive and kind hosts, you can't help but have a lovely stay. That was our experience at the DogWood cottage. The cottage sits in an idyllic setting, and the cottage did not lack for anything. The owners clearly had put a great deal of thought into everything a guest would need (even our four-legged guests). We LOVED our stay and cannot wait to return!"

"I spent a month at Paul and Vivi"s cottage this summer and really enjoyed it. I was looking for something quiet and peaceful and it was exactly that, with a spectacular view. The cottage contained everything I needed for my 30-day stay, was comfortable and private. I loved just taking in the scenery around the cottage, including their beautiful vineyards. Paul and Vivi were wonderful hosts. I highly recommend it."

"Cynthia and Tao’s house is beautifully decorated and appointed, the bed is super comfortable and the views from this house are stunning. "We were visited daily by deer: a buck, doe and several young ones. The ocean glimmers, the stars come out at night, and you can snuggle in front of the lovely fireplace. The location gives you easy access to Gualala and the Sea Ranch Lodge.
