"We have stayed at the Limes 3 times over the last 18 months for a week at a time. The Owner (Dave) and his son (Dan) are fabulous people. We also joined the Limes for the New Years Eve party. It was such fun to see families with little ones enjoying the celebrations. Many activities for all. As with most UK hotels there is a kettle, cups, tea and milk on the ready. There is a warm and welcoming family atomosphere at the Limes! "

"Wonderful staff in all areas of the hotel that we used, don't of house, breakfast, spa area and hotel bed room services. Thank you ever so much for a kind and pleasant welcome. Our dog was very happy to be able to enjoy the adventure with us too."

"We stayed here as it is very local to my sisters and were up for a family Christmas and we were not disappointed. We were welcomed and everything was polite and friendly. The room was well presented and there were even chocolates waiting for us. Plus a fully stocked coffee/tea/hot chocolate and biscuits. The ensuite had a wonderful shower plus clean fluffy towels and a heated towel rail with shower gel/soap. The heating was on and it was very warm when we arrived, so we turned it off and would have been better to have left on a low setting as it was slightly chilly in the morning. We had breakfast and this was a lovely cooked meal with also cold buffet with pastries and cereals. The room was clean and whole visit was welcoming and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit. "

"Welcoming professional receptionist on check in. Spacious room. Pleasant lobby. Drinking glasses separate from those provided in the bathroom would be nice. Shower cubicle would benefit from having a door. Fewer scaled down benefits for IHG Rewards Club Members (drinks vouchers etc) than previously, means that we now book through a third party on line agent rather than directly."
