"Nice stay, old school room on top of a pub and might have a bit of noise outside of the road but overall good stay, staff went out of the way to provide us breakfast the night before as we left early. Parking can be at the car parks nearby for free for the night... "

"Good location for us half a hour from the ferry port. Room size ok for us. Overall the room was a bit tired and could benefit from an update. The items we noted were:- One failed and one failing light bulb on the main light made the room a bit dim. Wobbly toilet seat Plug in the washbasin was not attached and was difficult to use. Beside tables were rickety and needed attention. Missing top on the coffee machine water container makes it is unhygienic and put us off using it. Staff could have...

"Great location in central Chichester Very friendly staff My room was separate from the pub so I didn't have to go through the bar to get to my room Breakfast was ok. Continental only. Lots of lovely eateries nearby. Chichester is a vibrant City with plenty to see and do. Hope to return soon. Many thanks."

"We stayed over for a family meal occasion. The service, welcome and meal were all excellent. The room was very nice and the bed was comfortable. The room was also nice and quiet. The only thing that could be improved, and I did mention this at reception, was the lack of suitable electric socket near a mirror, the hairdryer supplied in the room did not reach the mirror meaning you could not see your hair whilst drying it. "Stayed for 2 nights as was visiting family in Coldwaltham. Delightful small pub just taken over by new crew. Warm welcome and brilliant staff. Clean & comfortable stay in a quaint local pub. Food was good as well."

"This cottage is lovely, we fell in love with the well equipped kitxhen and pantry. The garden qnd house was lovely for our Labrador Gatsby. We went out and explored the downs and the coast everyday. Lovely pub qt end of road. The host is amazing, so friendly and helpful. We plan to come again"

"Property was perfect, cosy and comfortable. It has everything you need inside. The little added extras were a sweet touch ( cheese and crackers, jug of milk, bottled water). Location is superb, lots to do around the Area, nice pubs. Great communication with the owner. Didn't want to leave. I stayed with my 2 children and my dog. Would definately stay again."
