"Wonderful property in a beautiful location"

"Free parking and views of lake from the dining room were very good. Half board - the dinner was good but overpriced so the 10% service charge worked out extortionate. NOT GOOD We were put in a small loft room with a difficult door to open and a tight stair access- the room and whole property needs a lick of paint and could be cleaner. Location too far from bowness - walking into town is 20minutes but on both roads which had no pavement so very dangerous. Wouldn’t stay here again ."

"My wife and I loved our stay at Lindeth Howe, we were made welcome their throughout our stay and nothing was to much. The hotel was superbly clean and with Beatrix Potter everywhere it made the place very homely. Would definitely return. "
