"This is an excellent option for a night before your early morning flight out of LAX. It has everything, plus the rooms are spacious, the bedding comfortable, and the shuttle dependable. There is a bar and restaurant as well as a small coffee shop with salads and sandwiches. "

"The Hotel Normandie is a beautiful property. It feels like a building from a bygone age. It's so lovely inside, and the rooms reflect an older style of hotel. The bathrooms are quaint, with white subway tile and antique fixtures. The rooms are plain but beautiful with lots of wood, high ceilings, and moldings. I loved the hard wood floors. The beds were comfortable, and we slept pretty soundly even with the single-pane windows that didn't entirely block out the street noise. But that was okay. It was a lovely room and central to places we wanted to visit. The hotel has a wine reception nightly and an attached restaurant that was delightful. The parking is across the street, which was a bit unusual; however, the lot has 24-hour surveillance, and we were fine. All in all, a lovely stay."
