"We traveled to Philly for my son’s 16th birthday. The house was absolutely perfect! Everyone had their own space and we were able to gather in the living room comfortably to watch movies. All activities were within a 15 minute drive and we always felt safe in the area. The rooftop view was beautiful and a great place to wind down at the end of the night, read quietly and watch the sunrise. "Cleanliness: It was a pretty clean place, but you could definitely tell it was run down in some areas. Comfort: The main complaint from the group was that the beds were too stiff. I'd recommend the host upgrade the mattresses or buy mattress toppers. Communication: The communication from the host was good and fast, which was nice Location: A bit of a hike from downtown Philly, but I expected that. "This is a fantastic use of an old space. Very conveniently located just off the subway system, the neighborhood isn't the nicest BUT the house is fantastic. Wide open spaces with plenty of comfortable chairs, beds and couches, the extra showers and eating areas were awesome and there was an outdoor back patio that made for a great reading area. All and all a fantastic stay, we cancelled evening plans just to hang out in the VRBO and enjoy some family time."
