"Hotel appeared to be in safe area for the river walk. We had a couple of issues after checking in but wasn't a big deal. When we checked into our room the smoke alarm was beeping indicating a low battery. I got a battery from front desk and changed. Then while settling in we noticed that heat wasn't working, setting was on heat and fan blowing but no warm air. Informed front desk and was able to change rooms. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating. One negative comment is about...

"The hotel was closed due to damage suffered from Hurricane Florence, that is NOT the problem..... the problem is that I was not made aware of the hotel being closed and had to make late night plans for a new place to stay..... Orbitz DID assist with finding a new hotel but it would have been nice to know in advance of the day arriving."

Angie and Chris are very helpful with recommendations of where to go in the Wilmington area and are wonderful just to talk to being lifelong residents in the Wilmington area. So many stories 😀 Cannot recommend their B&B enough as we had a magnificent weekend staying in their beautiful home!"
