"Everything was great"

"Great stay, as always. Building is showing its age, but staying here is so convenient, I'm okay overlooking the small things. What's great about a smaller place like this is if your plans change - its easier to add or subtract days from your stay without stupid charges. Staff was great, and when my credit card did not show me leaving a day early - one phone call and it was taken care of. I will continue to stay at the Lafayette - at least until I see a ghost - and yes - I look for them! "

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was that the lobby was locked at all times, requiring going outside and ringing the bell to get into the lobby for coffee in the morning. (Coffee was cold, by the way.)"

"Stayed in the Riley Suite. First time in a boutique hotel and I was floored with the atmosphere of this place. Huge bonus was the on-site restaurant/bar “Galley” which was absolute class. "

"We needed somewhere close to Marietta College to stay and visit with our daughter after a lacrosse game. This was perfect! It was clean and close by and the layout allowed us time to visit, but gave us all privacy for sleeping! The driveway is very steep, but since we were prepared for it, we didn’t have any issues. Great view too!!!"

"Old, but comfortable. Could have used a bit more cleaning and a few items could have been fixed, or maintained, and there was nothing in the backyard.... No fire ring, no chairs, no grass. It is close to many good places to eat, so, overall...we enjoyed our stay! The host was helpful and answered our questions promptly. inHost was very helful with our questions. "

"My husband and I had a short visit for business and this location was fantastic. It’s central to all the wonderful sights and experiences in Marietta. Maxx was very responsive when I had questions and the apartment was comfortable and well stocked for our visit. We will be returning to this spot again! "
