"Great price and room for the weekend. Only 3 dedicated parking spaces out front and if they're taken you have to move your vehicle every 2 hours around the square because of parking restrictions. Stairs and passages are tidy but could do with an update. Overall happy with the establishment."

"The staff were so friendly and accommodating, from my phone call to let them know that I might not arrive until 10pm to the welcome I received when I managed to be a bit earlier. The locals were very friendly showing how popular the bar was! The bed was comfortable and breakfast (continental) had a wide range of choices. If ever I come this way again I would stay here again."

"Feels like stepping back in time staying here. It was lovely and quiet and the grounds are beautiful. Dinner was fantastic.. we had mussels and filet. Both were very good! "First overnight stay at Carberry. We were kindly upgraded to a suite which was most impressive. Dinner in the Bistro was lovely. We asked for breaded fish rather than done in batter. No problem & it was extremely tasty. Relaxed atmosphere , friendly staff. A hidden gem."

"We had an amazing stay from start to finish. Ian gave us a tour if the castle along with a history. The rooms were cozy, the bed was very comfortable. The owners even gave us a ride to the tram when we were unable to find a taxi. Sue and Ian are a friendly helpful couple. "
