"Cons: Very very very old room. Very old furniture Smallest wash room I have ever seen in a private room. Wifi and lights will be switched off after 11pm which is crazy. The price of the room is super super high for the quality. Though I booked room with air conditioning they provided room with fans .these fans can’t keep any person cool. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. We were lucky choosing Sirena Surf Lodge, rooms were super clean, Goyo and his wife were THE BEST hosts, we even got an upgrade on our room with amazing views, it was great to hear the sound of the waves on the night and been able to surf right in front of the lodge. "Finca Ometepe is tucked up against the Volcano Madera about 2km past the town of Balgue. They have many fruit trees, fresh eggs, and even homemade goat cheese when we stayed there. The casita kitchen is well equipped. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay here."
