"Nothing to do around one you do the zip line,the coffee tour and a trail on Mombacho. The place is isolated and hard to get to anywhere without a car. The guys cooked us meals every day which were not too bad concidering the circumstances and reasonably priced. We stayed 2 nights and that was enough for us.It was nice being so close to a volcano and being surrounded by nature.Lots of hawler monkeys around as well!!"

"I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. Instead as the sun went down, we were greeted by a guy with a flashlight which seemed to be telling us he was the night guard and told us to yell his name if we heard anything. "Finca Ometepe is tucked up against the Volcano Madera about 2km past the town of Balgue. They have many fruit trees, fresh eggs, and even homemade goat cheese when we stayed there. The casita kitchen is well equipped. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay here."

"Worth traveling to Nicaragua just to visit this amazing Eco lodge. Such a fantastic vista , a very special place to unwind and relax. The hosts are very friendly and are great cooks so the food is very very good. They can recommend many local attractions, but also alow you to relax and enjoy the beautiful lodge."
