"the property is very nice and spacious. but unfortunately far from most attractions. Due to the hurricane damage Blue Ridge was closed off and most driving distances are 40 minutes plus. The other downfall was the trash situation. We were unaware that would have to dispose of the trash away from the house to the nearest landfill. Fortunately you have the option of the cleaning staff taking it for you at a Fee cost. "

"A lovely, clean and well-cared for cabin in a beautiful setting - our little family truly enjoyed being here. We spent the sunshiny days hiking along the Tanawha trail, out to Hebron Falls (a perfect family ‘playground’), and the short but sweet Green Knob loop. All of these were a a quick and lovely 15’ drive from the cabin.The cabin was well-stocked w firewood and we truly enjoyed a blazing fireplace on the colder nights. "2 friends getting together for quick getaway. The cottage is a 2 bedroom 1 bath which is perfect for privacy. It was clean and quaint. The location is within walking distance of everything we wanted. We were iced in for a day and half and hiked and explored the other day and half. I never felt like we were restless.
