"We thoroughly enjoyed at quick weekend pre-holiday getaway in Fleetwood. The location is perfect for a day in charming West Jefferson and a few days in Boone. The home was spacious, nicely furnished, and very clean. The host was available for our questions. The only recommendation we would make is to add lamps and mirrors in all the bedrooms. We hope to return in the Spring!"

"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. "We went to that area to ride the Virginia creeper Trail bike trail. The location was perfect. The house was spotless and provided an excellent lodging option for four adults. We would definitely rent this place again."

"Michael and Tatiana made my daughter and I feel so welcome! Plus we brought my three pups and my daughter’s pup no problem!! Their place has an amazing view of the mountains! They have sheep, pigs, bunnies, ducks made it fun to look out the window and see sheep grazing. Fresh duck eggs available the whole time. Place was very clean and had all we needed. Very homey!! I will rent again when I come back to see my brother and family. "

We spent many early evenings on the porch enjoying the view and surrounding nature. Home is located on a gravel dirt road and can be a bit steep in areas.
