"The housekeeping staff are excellent! The management staff is good depending on who you get. The room was very clean. But my TV went out and I had a night left on my stay. It was the weekend, so no maintenance person. I told the front desk person that it went out the night before at 9 am, he didn't check the tv until after 3:30 pm. I was told that there was no maintenance person on the property and that I had to stay in that room until tomorrow. I told him that I was checking out in the morning....

"The check in process was timely and the receptionist was friendly. The rooms had an odd stintch to it and the bathroom smelled of mildew. The water pressure in the bathroom was low and the facuet was loose from the wall, there were also no wash clothes in the bathroom. The beds were decent to sleep on, the tv worked fine, and the heater heated the room nicely. Breakfast was good. Overall, it was a good stay. "

"Automatic lights in the bathroom don't turn off fast enough. The welcome on the TV was nice, but I found it wasteful to have it and the lights on. No remote in room so has to manually turn off the TV. Breakfast was amazing and the ladies working in the lounge were so friendly and sweet. "

"Cute place but a safety hazard. Floors warped, especially in the bath. Curtains "puddled" on the floor to trip over. Shower curtain too long (tripping hazard) and no safety bar in shower. Very dangerous as tub is very tall to step over."

"This was our second time to stay with the same group. The house is great and well put together. If you have kids that enjoy trains this is the place to go. The train engineer runs like clock work and the owner leaves each room with ear plugs just in case you need them but it really didn’t bother us. Will definitely e coming back for future events. "
