"Did not feel safe outside/parking. Drug induced people all around/ ladies of the night. I was scared my car would be stolen or broken into each night. The property had all these keys for you to use but they didn’t keep the doors locked. Anyone on the street could have entered the house at any given time. There were people hanging around on the street next to the cars doing drugs 24/7. I definitely wouldn’t stay there again. The water in the sink gets really hot but the shower water was cold."

"I needed somewhere to stay because I had to wait for my apartment to move in. Convenient location ( 3 bus lines and city subway). Host got back to me quickly when I needed anything. I had to stay an extra week and he was very helpful with that process."

"House Rules: Respect our towels and sheets? Need to be clear. Does this mean they are for the owner since this is a rental in their house; because I didn’t get to use any. I don’t know both were used by the same person or what. Leave a towel and wash cloth in the room instead. Thank you."

"Our stay at Maple ave was great!! When we arrived it was a quiet dead end road with curbside parking. The instructions for getting in were super clear, when we walked in everything looked perfectly clean, and the amenities were great for a short stay for a concert at MetLife. It took us approximately 15 minutes to drive from the apartment to the parking lot of the stadium, which was perfect. I would definitely stay there again!"

"We stayed 2 nights and it was nice to have parking in the driveway. Place was immaculate and had a good amount of amenities in the kitchen. Beds were large and comfortable. The driveway is on a slope and there is a flight of steps up which was fine for most of our family but a little harder for the elderly in our group. 1 bathroom meant we were on a rotation but we made it work. We'd stay here again."

"This property is perfect for those wanting an affordable place near NYC. Pictures are 100% accurate as the host was available to answer any questions I had. Located via a short drive to Penn Station to get you into Manhattan. My only concern is the neighborhood seems older and ran down. The overall environment of this part of Newark is a little rough and loud but not a deal breaker. I would stay here again as this option is WAY BETTER than a hotel in cleanliness, space, service and overall...

"The place was amazing. Extremely comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed. Perfect for my quick stay for work. Host was great with quick and helpful responses to any questions or concerns I had. Parking was manageable, definitely could have been worse. Just need to find a spot on the street and I always found one on the same block. 10/10 would recommend staying here. Will be trying to stay here again next time I’m in Bayonne."
