"Clean hotel and staff were super friendly and helpful. There are two downsides though. Breakfast is almost $20 a person. We have a family of 5 and it would have cost us $100 a day to eat breakfast. Im sorry, but that's a rip off! Plus it cost $10 a day to park in their parking lot.0 These two things were very disappointing and we will most likely not return for these two reasons"

"Located in a beautiful neighborhood a little over a mile from American University - super clean and smelled great - all of the employees were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again. "

"The room was nice especially the kitchen. Room was clean with the exception of some what looked like hair dye with the grout. Otherwise property was nice! Staff was very nice. Property is in a quiet neighborhood by the metro. Wish there were more restaurants nearby but it’s close to Whole Foods and the Kennedy center. Would recommend this property! Oh and the beds were very comfortable "

"I loved the breakfast selection and the location. It was 3 blocks from metro. There is a Safeway across the street, it comes in handy.No bar on premises. Disappointed with unfriendly reception staff and almost non nonexisting housekeeping. We even mentioned as we left one day that our room was not cleaned the day before, so we thought for sure when we returned it would be done…wrong. Had to ask for toilet paper!!!!"

Comfortable Stay

"Our stay at the Washington Plaza Hotel was very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was exceptional and priced fairly. It is an older DC hotel, but nicely maintained. On location is parking certainly worth the extra fee. The monuments and museums are within walking distance if you don't mind a little exercise. "
