"Overall the property was great. The only thing that needs improvement is the check in process, especially with travellers flying in late in the evening. If it wasn't for one of the friendly tenants calling the security guard for me, we probably wouldn't be able to get into our suite. There's no front desk reception. So My suggestion to management is to email travellers of check in instructions and what to expect at least 3 days prior to check in. But other than that, our stay was great!"

"I've been staying here since 2012. The staff are all very warm and welcoming. I didn't even need my ID at check-in because they remembered me. I will continue to return because of the location, pool deck, restaurants, and of course, the staff. They're all very professional and top notch! Mahalo and see you in 2026! "

"This review is for the Waikiki Banyan hotel. We were re-accommodated to it, not by choice as the 2 bedroom unit we booked in the Ilikai was no longer available. We were told this 9:30 pm the night before check in. They re-accommodated us to a small 1 bedroom unit with not enough beds for our party of 5. The unit looked clean, and everything worked except the door lock on the bathroom....

"When I arrived the facility, there are no staffs and no directions. I had no way to contact with the owner. Accidentally I met a girl who lived there and called the owner and got an email which showed all the directions about check in. But the owner misplaced the key for the booked room. We had terrible time correcting all the problems. We felt totally exhausted."
