"The property is located atop the hill in the favelas of Vidigal. The locals are welcoming and they have everything you require up there for a steep walk or motorbike taxi. They also provide a bus if you have luggage. A way of life in different perspective. Bar, restaurant, DJ with a view! Watching the sun rise over Rio from bed give it a try"

"Carlos der Besitzer ist sehr aufmerksam und sehr freundlich... man bekommt zur Begrüßung erstmal ein Bier angeboten und einen Schlüssel für das gesamte Haus... somit ist man sehr flexibel und kann zu jederzeit ins Hostel. Die Touren die dort angeboten werden sind klasse! "

"This is an interesting place, definitely a love hotel. The views are impressive and the location is good. Only one of the staff spoke a little English but he was very helpful. There were a lot of bugs (little flies ants and a couple spiders) in the room but that did not bug me too much. My biggest issue is they charged me an extra 25% of my reservation at checkout, even though I paid in full on Hotels.com. I am not sure I would return here. "
