"Had an amazing stay at the hostel. Staff was super friendly and helpful, the place is in great condition and has a beautiful yard with a swimming pool, orange trees and a volleyball field. "Isabel was at checkin and was very friendly. We had changed our reservations and they were accommodating. BUT the room we were in had a serious plumbing or septic issue. It was very smelly and they must have been aware of this before putting us in this room. Also, there was an outside light that was on all night shining into our room. we were told it could not be shut off. The location is great and Sagres is a wonderful town with great vibes. Hopefully this was just our experience and management...

"My review is difficult as we arrived to be told that a computer malfunction meant that our 2 rooms were occupied. We agreed to move to another hostel, it was good. They should have notified us before. Also payment has been taken out and paid back 4 times now, incurringinternational currency charges each time. I have requested an explanation, but no answer so far. They need to work on their communication."
