"The dining options were quite limited since most of the restaurants were under construction. It wasn’t a big issue for me since I ate outside the resort most of the time. However, if you prefer to dine within the resort, this is something to keep in mind. Also, if you're planning to explore the Romantic Zone, be aware that it's about a 30-minute Uber ride each way. I had to take an Uber once or twice a day to get to the restaurants and back."

"Had a great stay. Staff was incredible and property very beautiful. Location could not be beat! Couple things to note though... No screens on the balcony door so we had to keep them closed at night due to mosquitos so couldn't hear the waves. Also it has been awhile since we stayed at a family friendly resort. Kids were everywhere but the kid friendly zone and there was alot. Lol. However would definitely come back someday with our grandkids. Perfect for families. "

They really took the time to make sure my group was happy and taken care of, especially Luis who helped us book beach front massages for my birthday and just went above and beyond! The food was unbelievably good, our favorite was the Italian restaurant! Our room was outstanding, and the pools were clean and one of them was very warm. "Every staff member who works here is super friendly. We were made to feel welcome. Our room was just a basic two bed ocean view. That was all we needed. The room was nice, clean. "We had a wonderful stay at the resort. The staff in all areas were exceptional. Jesus and Daniel were very attentive and helpful poolside. Raull and all the the bellmen did a great job when a taxi was needed. We ate at most of the restaurants at both resorts and found the food and service went above and beyond. The grounds were clean and well maintained. The spa offered a variety of services My massage was amazing. We would definetly consider returning to La Estancia for another vacation."

"It was a beautiful place that needs some TLC. Maybe we just missed busy season but only a few guests there so it was a little spooky for my daughter not seeing anyone in this huge place. The very few staff members we saw were really nice but spoke little English so couldn't ask them much. That's ok since I was visiting their country and know basic Spanish. From a distance the pools look really nice but tiles falling off and not the cleanest, hot tubs half full with debris in them or closed...
