"Only stayed here for one night before doing the ATM tour the next day, but room was clean and comfortable, and staff was very accommodating. They even let us order a very early breakfast so we could eat before going on our cave tour. Location is not super close to downtown area, but right next door to Mayan Ruins, which is fantastic. Great experience, highly recommend."

"Gaia was INCREDIBLE. The property is gorgeous, the rooms are beautiful, the scenery is stunning, and yet the best part is the fantastic service. We felt like friends with Freddy and Javier by the time we left. Greg was also a wonderful tour guide. And Colby helped us decide on and book adventures. They all made us feel right at home! un fact, they didn’t let us check in until we’d had a welcome drink and sat down for a lovely candlelit dinner. And speaking of the restaurant - the food and drinks on the property are really great which is good because unless you have 4WD you’re unlikely to be going elsewhere to eat. Expect to pay American prices for food and drinks but it’s worth it as almost all (if not all) the food is grown right there on the property - everything’s incredibly fresh and delicious. My favorite part was lounging down by the waterfall or sitting on our balcony overlooking it, listening to the sounds of the jungle. "
