"Amazing spot close to town but far enough into the jungle to have a quiet getaway. Cesar helped us start to finish and ensured we had an amazing stay. The restaurant on site was fantastic and highly recommended. Really can’t recommend this place enough, if I’m ever back in this area of Belize, I will not hesitate to stay here again. "

"Excellent stay here. The seclusion in the forest is a major plus. Best mixed drinks I had during my whole stay in Belize, including on Ambergris Caye. Food was excellent and home cooked. When looking back on this trip, I'll remember our great time here. Was very relaxing and felt authentic. Pool was smaller but nice. Staff is small, and very courteous and attentive. Rooms and the restaurant was very clean.. also a small gift shop on site was nice. The bungalos were very neat with a nice fans...

"Joe & Miriam (sp?) were very friendly and engaging hosts. We went to the Caracol Mayan site and also did a boat/swimming/waterfall tour. Joe is very knowledgeable about Mayan ruins. He is most enthusiastic about showing you his native country. Miriam is a great cook. We thoroughly enjoyed our jungle experience."

"The commodities was good the location very quiet , the 7 miles gravel road was hard on us however we forgot that with the excellent services from all the stafs especially the host master and all the table servers. "We had the best time at Villa Cayo! The cabin kitchen is very well equipped and we had the most comfortable bed. We saw all kinds of birds, every morning, even toucans! The property works better for guests with a car, but they'll assist you with transfers, tours and even taxi cabs. Virginia, Ken, Luis and each one we met at the property were wonderful! They make you feel very welcome! Great place if you're looking for a restful vacation! We can't wait to return to San Ignacio and stay here...

"This house in Santa Elena is so cool! Our family of 5 stayed here for three nights. The house itself is well maintained, very spacious and clean. The views around the property are gorgeous and the surroundings are lush and so peaceful. We had Consuelo cook for us one nights and it was the best as she prepared food and cleaned up everything after. We got to relax after a long day. And Consuelo is so sweet and helpful. Wonderful stay and would highly recommend! "
