"Nabitunich is a mixture of a hotel with cabins and a Homestay. Dominik the owner of the hotel and working farm was there to greet us and show us around. The cabins are simple and rustic but with all amenities incl. a water cooker. Some cabins have AC and others don’t (yet). Bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast and dinner (if ordered) is served in the homestyle dinning room. Good place to exchange experiences and suggestions with other guests. The food was simple but good. Dominik was very helpful in suggestion day tours and finding guides if needed. We rented a 4x4 SUV at the airport in Belize and drove. We also used our car to visit the sights. In the dry season that works well. Others came by shuttle or taxi and were picked up for their guided tours. A car (either your own or a taxi) is needed to go into town. It about a 15 min drive to San Ignacio. We had a great authentic stay and would definitely stay there again. "

"The property is beautiful, view has to be the best in San Ignacio and staff were great. We reserved a cabana which was spacious and secluded. The cabanas do have a palapa top, letting in a small amount of mosquitos, debris and noise if you have extra loud neighbors. I would recommend walking/taking a taxi into town for most meals, but we had one breakfast and two dinners at the resort, out of convivence, which did not disappoint. Would 100% recommend and visit again. "

"Tranquil little paradise in the nature! Loved the grounds and the authentic style of the rooms. Room was beautifully prepared with flower petal decoration on the bed & bathroom. Nice pool area to relax and 40 min nature trail through the trees although we didn’t see any tucans unfortunately. Shower pressure great - the best we had in Belize! Ate dinner and breakfast in the onsite restaurant - both delicious but a little on the pricey side. Turned up for breakfast one morning without pre-reserving/ordering and all worked out fine. Had a scorpion in the room one night but all part of the nature experience! Location is a short drive from the centre but far enough to feel totally in the nature. Highly recommend! "

"The hotel is on a relatively quiet street, and is modern and beautiful. I especially appreciated the good laundry service, as well as the friendly Carroll who was quite helpgul, and fun."

"If I could give 6 stars I would. From the moment we arrived and even before our arrival the staff was proactive and attentive. It was my husbands birthday and they decorated the room and had a table in the restaurant decorated for us with a cake. My mother in law stayed with us and they converted the living room sofa to a bed. The food was great with cheese made on property abd vegetables from their own garden. You truly feel like you are staying in a jungle oasis. We will definitely be back. "

"The staff were really helpful and friendly! We were really confortable in the room. The shower had great water pressure and felt so clean and updated. The upstairs patio was our favourite place to hang out in the shade. The location is great, with everything you could need being within a 10 minute walk."
