"My wife and I stayed in the Gingerbread House for a week in June. Eve welcomed us and helped us get oriented with the area, even suggesting places to visit and restaurants to check out. She was very quick to respond to questions. The location of the Gingerbread House itself is generally located in the middle of Maui away from the resorts, where we were able to enjoy a more authentic Hawaiian experience. "We very much enjoyed our time in this house surrounded by lush nature with avocado, orange, tangerine trees, etc. Eve was so welcoming and is a great host. The house is very spacious and we (9 adults) enjoyed cooking and having meals around the dining table. The mornings are beautiful with the sun on the balcony and on the meadow in front of the house. The service is friendly and you feel like you are in another world away from the real world.
