"We booked the Zanzibar Hotel in February 2019 for a stay in August. The week before we travelled we contacted the hotel to request an airport transfer, which their website said they offered. They replied to our Expedia message by saying that the hotel was undergoing refurbishment but we would be staying in a 'sister' hotel called the Tausi Palace and a driver would pick us up from teh airport and take us there. "Hotel is situated right in the heart of stone town, close to everything. Felt very safe. The hotel had a boutiquey feel to it. Rooms were lovely, space to hang out and unwind was nice. Good food options if you don’t want to go out"
