"We booked the Zanzibar Hotel in February 2019 for a stay in August. The week before we travelled we contacted the hotel to request an airport transfer, which their website said they offered. "Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great location in the city of stone town very walkable. Breakfast daily. This review is based on staying in two different rooms. The Shaba was large spacious. The rosemond was small and adequate but the water pressure in the shower was very low and no privacy curtain in the window. The amount of light in the rooms are low when applying makeup or using the mirror. "

"Our stay was wonderful. The room was very nice with an ocean view. My only complaint was that I asked for a "curling iron" and they sent up a straightener which is just the opposite...and when I plugged it in it didn't work. Also employees did not know that a USB port for charging our cell phone was built in to the back of the bedside table lamp...they seemed surprised when we pointed it out to them upon checking out. Overall the Hotel was beautiful!!!"
