"Our family of five from Canada (2 adults and 3 kids) had a fantastic stay at this house near Chokoku no Mori in Hakone. The home was clean, spacious, and perfectly suited for a family. The area is beautiful and peaceful — a wonderful place to relax and explore. One of the highlights was visiting the nearby volcano, where the kids especially loved trying the famous black eggs. "Great amenities, spacious villa with a private onsen bath. If I had one criticism, the main bathroom had a musty, wet rag odor indicating possible mold/mildew growth. Suggest management use bleach solution or a power jet washer to thoroughly clean the bathroom areas. Other than that, family had a good stay and u recommend this property. "

"Wonderfully modern and clean home. The best part was the restaurant next door and the private Onsen soaring tub. They provide a number toiletries as a convenience if you didn’t bring any. The mini splits do take time to warm up the home, but once they do it is very comfortable. "

"The owner is not kind or friendly, I had to wait in rain around 40 minutes before a kind neighbor arrived and helped, no bed is ok but tatami and everything is short, I’m 5’8 only and I had to try sleeping in half moon position, no bathroom attached bed room, at night time you have to go down into a very steep stairs which is dangerous, no taxi can enter the premise and will not come to get you. "

"Hygiene of this property was horrible! The property was full of insects and dirt. Bugs and spiders were everywhere - on dining table, on floor, on wall and even on the bed - literally a bug house! We were scared by a giant spider on the bed. It is beyond a normal hygiene problem but constitutes a safety concern for residents. "I booked 3 days to stay in this property. We decided on the first day that it is not for us and refunded the last day. Cons: To start, the walk to the property is the furthest walk on the entire street practically only up hill walking. It is quite annoying to get anywhere if you want to leave the property. "とても綺麗で過ごしやすかったです。宿泊者全員とても気に入っていました。困った点といえば、事前の施設利用方法（鍵の暗唱番号含む）のお知らせが来なかったこと。心配になって連絡しましたが、施設からはエクスペディアへ送っている、とのことでしたが、メールごみ箱なども確認しましたが、やはり見つかりませんでした。どこかでフィルタされてしまったのか？施設の連絡先に連絡してからはとても丁寧に対応していただき、不安は解消されました。 "

"Beautiful hotel- lovely surroundings. Stayed in the corner room on the forest tower and the room was fantastic- lovely view. So nice to use the onsen on the sixth floor of this building. Staff of course are amazing. Do be sure to stroll the garden- so beautiful. Breakfast is an affair each morning- felt very pampered. Highly recommend."

Lovely Ryokan visit

"Amazing hospitality. We loved the whole vibe of a ryokan hotel. Strolling around the property in kimono was very relaxing. Having private balcony onsen was also amazing! Our only issue was the quality of meat received at the Japanese grill restaurant. One day is was great. The next day, the same cuts of meat were much tougher. "
