"Great location,secluded but roomy hotel with a beautiful garden. Loved that they had free bike rentals to explore Kyoto which came in really handy several times. Convenient 7-Eleven right across the street from lobby. Walkable to great restaurants and shopping. There is also a public bath."

"This hotel is absolutely beautiful and the amenities are outstanding. Pretty convenient and walkable to many train stations. We loved the breakfasts, the nightime ramen, all-day matcha lattes, popsicles/ice cream, massage chairs, and on-site onsen! Staff is very helpful and welcoming. Very easy for non Japanese speaking travelers and great for families with children."
