"I stayed for a week with two other friends. We really enjoyed our stay. Very walkable to Old San Juan and Balneario del Escambrón Beach (around 15 minutes each). There are multiple dining options (also walkable), but I recommend eating at Old San Juan. The only point of discomfort was that we could not throw toilet paper down the toilet, but that's because the pipes around Old San Juan are an older version. If that would be an issue, I would recommend finding a different accommodation in Newer...

Excellent communication from property manager. "We had such a wonderful stay in Luquillo! The property was perfect, in a quiet neighborhood but close to all the action. We LOVED the outdoor kitchen/living area. I was initially nervous about mosquitos, but they were not an issue. We were able to explore the rainforest and go to the beach during our four day stay - both are equally as close. There are plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby.Mary was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We cannot wait to return to lovely Luquillo!"
