"The home is a decent distance off the highway but the scenery you'll see while driving to it are gorgeous. On the first day, we saw 3 deer and 2 rabbits! The driveway is very steep and made of gravel, so keep that in mind when choosing what vehicle to bring. If it has been raining, your tires may slip a bit going up. "This place was so warm and cozy. All the little details were considered and we felt very much at home. Very comfortable bed, loved the fireplace and hot tub! Close to town yet on top of a quiet hill. It was perfect and we would very much consider booking here again."

"We went to that area to ride the Virginia creeper Trail bike trail. The location was perfect. The house was spotless and provided an excellent lodging option for four adults. We would definitely rent this place again."

"Michael and Tatiana made my daughter and I feel so welcome! Plus we brought my three pups and my daughter’s pup no problem!! Their place has an amazing view of the mountains! They have sheep, pigs, bunnies, ducks made it fun to look out the window and see sheep grazing. Fresh duck eggs available the whole time. Place was very clean and had all we needed. Very homey!! I will rent again when I come back to see my brother and family. "

"From booking to departure communication was on point. Upon entering there was a welcome basket with home instructions, waters and snacks. Such a nice welcome! The home was stocked with everything you need to start your trip, right down to coffee (kcups) cream, sugar and breakfast bars! The kitchen was well stocked. The bathroom with everything needed (shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toiletries) was so nice and rarely seen in an VRBO rental! The hot tub was heavily with our morning...

"The home was beautiful, a nice little retreat. An adventure to get back to and definitely somewhere we will be back. Communication was great, definitely take food in. About 15-20 minutes to the closest store. But we all can’t wait to be back. Perfect for visiting the family over the weekend."
