We had a relaxing weekend where we played games, had a snow ball fight and just reconnected as a family while celebrating our marriage with who mattered most. Sugar tree lodge was a perfect location and the lodge was clean, beds were comfortable and had a great secluded mountain cabin vibe. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the bike. "My family and I stayed at the Drowsy Owl so we could have a winter get together in the mountains. We stayed in both sides of the cabin. It was great having all the room to spread out across both sides, but also good to have areas where we could spend family time together too. The cabin was super clean upon arrival and the check in process is really easy. Kelly is a great host and super quick in her response time. "Drive to property made you feel off the beaten path. The property was as advertised. Comfy beds. Nice kitchen. Really enjoyed the decks especially viewing comet and Orion meteor showers. Lots of wildlife; turkey, deer, owls, ducks and bald eagle. "

"We were very impressed on how clean this place was. It was well supplied with cooking items, towels, linens, and anything else you would need. Originally, my GPS took us to the wrong rental and when I called the rental company, the lady who assisted us was very nice and got us to the correct address. The only thing I would mention is the staircase going down stairs needs to have grip tape or equivalent applied because my son in law slipped on the stairs.
