"Beautiful resort. Would return. So peaceful and relaxing. Suggest dining off-site; the food is great, but too expensive. Plenty of delicious options at nearby restaurants or in La Fortuna. No need to pay crazy prices for the food at the hotel."

"The grounds and views of the volcano were amazing. The villa was spacious and comfortable. We did have a leak after heavy rains and reported it but never heard back. A TV viewable from the couch would be nice and lower priced food options in the snack bar would be good. The hot springs were relaxing. Beautiful property."

"We really loved our stay at the lost iguana hotel. It’s a little bit further from the town about 35 minutes so keep that in mind if you want to be closer to downtown. It was a smaller resort overall but the grounds were stunning! "

"I really enjoyed my stay at Arenal Manoa. The view of the volcano was incredible (even though it rained most days). The staff was super friendly, helpful, and professional. The hot springs? Phenomenal. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and exactly what I needed to start my day. As a solo traveler, I never felt unsafe, and I didn’t have to worry about walking back to my room after a long day because on-site transportation was always available. My only gripe is that their airport transportation options were pricier than an Uber, which didn’t feel very reasonable. All in all, it was a great experience! "
