"We (2 couples) had such a great time at The Three Loons Cottage. The cottage had everything we needed; a very well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, lots of indoor and outdoor seating and a beautiful view of the lake. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the deck, using the canoes, and paddle boats (it was greatly appreciated that there were life jackets in a variety of sizes), and sitting around the fire pit at night looking at the stars. "We were excited about our stay at Rice Lake! But the house had a few problems and it made our stay less enjoyable. The small A/C unit is located in the living room area and not in the bedrooms. So every night was hot, and unable to cool the rooms properly. Second problem was the washer failed on the 2nd day of our stay and the owners did not fix the problem. They sent out someone to tell us they're working on purchasing a new washer but this forced us to go to the another laundry. It also...

"This is a lovely cottage, beautiful views, great area. I do however have some things I wasn't happy with, mostly the beds. The beds were not comfortable, most of us did not sleep well. That to me is the whole point of renting a place to stay, is to sleep, if the beds aren't comfortable, I won't be coming back. Also, the place wasn't very clean. Every kitchen drawer and cupboard I opened definitely needed cleaning. The amount of dead bugs in the light fixtures was just gross to be honest. ...

"The cottage was excellent for our needs of fishing. It was clean and easy to navigate with all the item at hand.
