"This resort delivered in everything I expected. It has the outdoor onsen view, excellent room, and the delicious meals. I really loved the breakfast, because I felt all of the dishes worth eating were delivered well, and they weren't overwhelming or gimicky. Just good ol' Japanese and Japanese-Western dishes. I didn't like the dinner because I felt a lot of them were kind of gimicky. I was a bit disappointed that none of them felt like they were representative of Hokkaido dishes though."

"Have to call them to make reservations for the shuttle, which may be difficult for foreigners. Tried to msg them through Expedia's platform but it went unanswered. Couldn't contact them through their website as well. Overall, still a pleasant stay.. although the fireworks is quite small from high up. View of clouds from the hotel is nice in the early morning. "

"Hotel is rather old and not well maintained. Water flask is dirty and had black particles. Hotel is backward and there is no wifi. But it gives an interesting experience of traditional Japanese living. Dinner provided is quite good but breakfast is simple."
