"The room was clean and spacious. Our dogs were very welcomed, although they were not allowed anywhere else in the hotel, not even the bar. We’re from Cornwall where dogs are welcome everywhere, bars, restaurants and shops. We were visiting family in the area so it provided us with a good base. We will stay here again on our next visit. "

One of the worst properties I've stayed in over 4 decades. A generally stand off ish and hostile undertone from the staffing on arrival, several serious defects and no warning about the bedding or towel shortfalls (unless you are one of their loyal customers who tolerate more than they should be expected to). "This hotel is closed we were rebooked at the Europa Gatwick hotel a sister hotel connected with the Britannia Hotel chain. On the out side it looked ok check in was fine and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The twin room i booked was pretty spartan, lacking in pillows, one per guest, the beds were absolutely atrocious one could feel the springs thru the mattress and the bed creaked something chronic, there was also a very strange nude picture of a women on the wall over the bed...
