"This house was so adorable! We were running extremely late do to a change in our flight but the owner stayed up to greet us. She showed us around the village and where the stores were. "A small group of modern appartments in a rural location with a great pool and stunning views. 20 min walk from village with good restaurants and shops. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Going breakfast available. The walk back from the village is steep but a taxi was 5 Euros. If you get the exact Google Maps location it is not difficult to find. "

"Stunning property in a newly restored old house. Beautiful, spacious and well-appointed room. The common areas were comfortable and there was a lovely balcony. The breakfast which was beautifully served on the balcony was beyond compare. Local, fresh, and delicious Cretan treats. Archanes is close to Heraklion and the palace of Knossos and had plenty of dining options. We were in Greece for three weeks and our night at Carpe Diem was probably our best stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. "
