"This review is for The Rock apartment, not the hotel. The air conditioning did not work in parts of the unit, though an attempt to fix it was made. The sleeper sofa's are NOT comfortable to sit on as a sofa. (I have no idea if they are comfortable as beds.) Otherwise, the location is great for the Acropolis/sites and restaurants, and the unit was spacious, quiet and clean. "

"The staff at the hotel is excellent. They are helpful and very pleasant. From the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning staff. Wonderful. The view from the restaurant is amazing. Breakfast had a lot of choices and dinner was first class. I highly recommend the Athens Gate Hotel."
