Wonderful Stay at Vasi Hotel My friend and I recently stayed at Vasi Hotel for 5 nights, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. The hotel is located right in the heart of Athens, near Monastiraki—a fantastic area with so much to see and do. The hotel itself was beautiful, featuring a modern design and impeccable cleanliness. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the incredibly comfortable mattresses and pillows to the luxurious shower gels and shampoos. It truly had all the comforts one could wish for. What made our stay even more special was the amazing team at reception. They were all so polite, accommodating, and eager to assist us throughout our visit. Although we didn’t catch everyone’s names, we want to give a special shoutout to Niko and Christina for their outstanding support. They were both so lovely, friendly, and helpful, making us feel truly welcomed. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Vasi Hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable!

I recently stayed at this hotel and encountered several issues that affected my overall experience. Upon arrival, I found that the room was not cleaned to my expectations, and I did not receive the benefits typically associated with VIP status. Additionally, the shower was broken, leading to flooding in the room. When I informed the staff, they explained that they were fully booked and could not change my room, placing the responsibility on Expedia to address my situation. Unfortunately, I did not receive any follow-up from Expedia regarding this issue. The jacuzzi on the terrace was not well-maintained, containing hair from previous guests, and the table on the terrace was broken. The shower also had hairs that had not been cleaned, which was disappointing. While I appreciate that the two young staff members I interacted with were nice and tried to assist, they were unable to resolve my concerns effectively. Overall, I felt that the hotel fell short in terms of cleanliness and responsiveness to guest issues.

We had a wonderful stay in Vasi hotel. The staff are nice and provided all our needs. The breakfast is excellent. Love to start our day with a greek breakfast. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is near landmarks and all places are walkable. Will refer the hotel to family and friends.

Hotel is average. Didn’t like the neighborhood, didn’t feel safe. It is not as close to major tourist destinations as we thought. Breakfast was OK but served too late (8am) for us who had tours starting at 8:30 or 9am. Staff was friendly. However, they leave the hotel at 11pm. I would look for an other hotel next time.

I would have rate it 5 star if only they thought about the functionality of the room. I like that they have bunk beds for kids making the room spacious. The bed felt very used up.. it is too soft and saggy. The toilet and bath placed in 2 rooms which is very inconvenient and no hooks to hang your clothes or towels inside. Difficult to maintain privacy after taking a shower especially if you are with teenage kids. A lot of planning to set up your clothes and towels after a shower. The toilet has no vents. The door doesn’t have a handle to open from inside. Just very inconvenient. I like that is walkable to bus stop, metro station and the hop on and off buses. Close to shops and restaurants. It would have been a quiet corner despite the noise from outside but we need to open the windows, because it was very stuffy to sleep at night since there was no air conditioning in the room. Free breakfast, but don’t expect a good continental breakfast. It is more like something to get through before brunch. Hope this helps.

The front desk was very welcoming and helpful on all inquiries. The surprise breakfast was wonderful and very helpful to begin the day. We were pleased that its location was nearby to many interesting historical sites as well as shopping and transportation options. It's very walkable and flat, and the nightlife browsing options were safe and attractive. We highly recommend for the value of this boutique hotel gem.

This hotel stay was a truly disappointing experience. The room was much smaller than advertised, with poor-quality bedding, pillows, and towels. Breakfast was of very poor quality and very limited in options, and the juice machine was unsafe to use so please be careful not to use a finger if using. The room was unwelcoming and cold, and after several calls, it took six hours to get the heating turned on. Housekeeping was subpar, and communication was difficult as the cleaner did not speak any English. Other issues included a rude receptionist on my first day, frequent access key malfunctions, an unbearably slow lift, and missing amenities. Overall, it was highly overpriced for the poor experience provided.
